Thanks to everyone for coming and supporting our deaf club last Saturday!

It was surprisingly a success and we were able to pay the rent. Donnie's homemade chili was delicious. We want to congratulate new members for joining us.

We decided to postpone Comedy Night to the next JDC event on Feb 6. The prize for the best standup comedy is a $50 gift certificate to Turn4Wings, a family sports restaurant on CR210. You can find out more about the restaurant at www.turn4wings.net. Please email us or sign up at the event so you can participate!

So, once again, we always host our event on first Saturday of every month at Fleet Reserve Hall at 7673 Blanding Blvd in Orange Park, 1pm until closing. We will have door prizes, so come on all! :) If you wanted to catch a football game or UFC, we have TV.

Last November, members have voted to change the club name from RCAD to JDC - Jacksonville Deaf Club. That will be effective immediately this month and hereafter. There was some confusion about that.

JAXDPHH is celebrating its 1 year anniversary this Friday at Sneakers 9a (8133 Point Meadows Way Jacksonville Fl. 32256) after 7pm. Congratulations!!!
