Hi everybody! I am the club secretary as well as the webmaster of this site. I've been working on a new website ever since the new administration got elected and had to hit the ground running earlier than expected on October 4, 2009. The club is going through massive changes, name and all.

Now 2010 is upon us, and this is our Christmas gift to everyone; a new website with better and clearer content. We even added a YouTube-like video gallery since we completely understand English is not some of our first language. ASL is and always will be a primary means of communication for us.

Other organizations such as deaftax.com will submit clips time to time. Perhaps even our President John Randolph will make those Presidential Notes using the vlog medium.

I have included clear information on how to participate in our club such as the Club Admission & Membership and Club Event Venue.

You can register as a member here to get updates and even get to upload video (we would prefer that you just submit a link from YouTube, it still would run like a movie here). I would need to approve the submissions to protect the website from spam. I support the Freedom of Speech as much as the next person, but respect will always come first. Please don't submit clips with foul language or if you are going to commit slander/fraud. We could get into trouble for your comments. Thanks for your understanding!

You can also submit links as a registered user, which would have to be approved first. If you want to do a link exchange, we are very happy to do this. However, we have to be careful about the nature of these links. Pornographic or truly offensive content will not be allowed on this website.

 If you want to submit articles for us or for your organization, you'd have to register as an user and then make the request to me (the club secretary). I would love for there to be bloggers that can write about issues or events in our deaf community! I would rather focus on the technical aspects of this website and doing my secretarial duties than posting articles for other people, quite frankly. Please, be my guest and become contributing writers with my deepest gratitude!

I have included resources such as Employment Search, Your Local Resources, Apartment Search and Deaf-Friendly Phones because they are very important/common in the deaf community. I will keep adding more. Please don't hesitate to share your links with me if your organization, club and company can be a resource for the deaf community.

We also are currently accepting advertisements in order to support the club rent and the upkeep of this website (domain name and host). Thank you so much for your support!
